Vacuum loading is the process of moving bulk dry materials (such as powders, regrind or granules), from place to place within a factory using suction. The material is transferred in a network of tubing from the pick-up point or source to the customers’ process.
Vacuum loading systems not only provide suitable transportation of bulk dry materials, but also lowers risks, increases cost effectiveness and maximises efficiency.
Labotek Mini-Feed 05 is designed for beside the machine applications with clean, low dust granules. The Mini-Feed 05 uses compressed air with an efficient venturi system and is commonly used to automatically load master batch and additives to colour feeders and blenders or virgin material on small capacity molding machines.
Designed for automatic conveying of clean, free-flowing, low-dust granule shaped plastic raw material from bag (or container), to the hopper of a processing machine or other material hopper. The Mini-Feed is used for automatic conveyance of free flowing, granule-formed raw material (min. grain size of 3 mm). The compact design makes the Mini-Feed suitable for mounting on all minor and medium sized production units. Especially where weight and size of the conveyor is of crucial importance. Conveyance of 15, 30, 60 and 120 kg/h
Labotek series of vacuum powders are suitable for any industrial application, to automatic convey dry and free flowing powder. Typical applications are within PE compounding plants or PVC extrusion plants loading various powder from bulk bags, bins or silos direct to an extruder or high speed mixer. However, Fleming have also installed systems into cement and water treatment plants. Labotek powder loaders can also be installed as a central materials handling system incorporating storage, conveying and blending controlled centrally through a PLC with common vacuum pump.
